BEN HAYDEN

WELCOME

My name is Ben Hayden and I am a Primary School teacher in the North East of England. After qualifying from the UCL Institute of Eduction in 2016, I relocated North, where I now teach in a school with 1:1 iPads in KS2 and shared class sets in EYFS and KS1. I have developed a definite interest in the ways in which technology can be used to enhance, engage and inspire within education and in 2019 I had the privilege of becoming an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE).

Being a part of a community of like-minded people has become a catalyst for much of what I now do; I thank those whose paths I have crossed.

I am a lover of all things creative and in turn I actively seek out ways in which I can represent this in my teaching. Much of what I integrate comes from both inspiration from other educators and by adopting a practice and play approach in developing my own knowledge and skills.

Much of this site will be dedicated to those creative aspects, where I will upload tutorials and ideas formed by other educators as well as myself so that others may gather suggested ideas to facilitate their own teaching and learning.
